HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED IN LBN
Write a Blog Post - We are committed to giving a voice to our members so please send us your ideas (between 500 - 750 words) to [email protected]
We are interested in issues affecting Black communities in the UK e.g. housing, education,
environment, equality, employment and training, health and social care, criminal justice, arts and culture, international development, enterprise, citizenship.
All submission will be checked and considered by the member of the Executive before it is published on the site.
Be part of a Committee - we are setting up committees in three areas:
Heath care
Justice
Education and young people
The committee's will consider current and past government policy with the aim of making recommendations for improvements. The timetable for these committees will be announced shortly but to express an interest please email us [email protected]
Campaigning - European and Local Elections in May 2014. Please see below for the names of Black candidates standing in the local and European elections on the 22nd May 2014. If you live nearby please get in touch with them to spare an hour to help them campaign to win their seats so we can have more much needed Black representation on our councils and in Europe:
